American Vs. Georgetown Score Update: Hoyas Hold 32-26 Lead At Halftime

The Geogetown Hoyas hold a 32-26 lead at halftime over the American Eagles. Markel Starks leds the way early for the Hoyas with eleven points. Forward Hollis Thompson is also having a nice game, with seven points and five rebounds in the first half. American actually took an early lead thanks to a John Schoof three-pointer.

The teams battled back and forth for the lead, but Starks sank some shots in a row to regain the lead. The Hoyas held onto a tenuous led to the half, but the Eagles are not backing away and have kept the game close. Guard John Shoof led the way for American with 10 points, hitting on two three-point shots. Those are the only three-pointers the Eagles have hit however, sinking just 16.7% of their three-point shots. Charles Hinkle also added another six points off the bench.
