The Howard Bison hit the road on Monday night for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off against the No. 18 ranked Indiana Hoosiers at Assembly Hall in Bloomington. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network.
Indiana is off to a hot start at 10-0. The Hoosiers have been especially effective lately, knocking off then-No. 1 ranked Kentucky on Dec. 10 before taking down Notre Dame this past weekend in Indianapolis. This will be their final tune-up before conference play begins against Michigan State on Dec. 28.
Howard, meanwhile, is struggling. The Bison are 3-8 on the season and in the midst of a three-game losing streak heading into play on Monday night. They have yet to win a road game this season and their last win came on Dec. 6 against Delaware State.
To get back in the win column, Howard will have to slow down Indiana's high-flying offense. The Hoosiers, led by freshman Cody Zeller's 15.6 points per game and Victor Oladipo's 12.7 points per game, are ranked No. 9 nationally in field goal percentage at 50.3 percent and No. 12 in points per game at 82.2.
