Howard Vs. Indiana: Bison Get Blown Out 107-50

I don't think a lot of people gave the Howard Bison very much of a shot against the Indiana Hoosiers on Monday night, but at the same time, I'm not sure that anyone expected them to be blown out quite to the extent that they were. The Hoosiers absolutely destroyed the Bison to the tune of a 107-50 blowout.

Each member of the Indian starting five scored in double digits, while only one Bison managed to crack that plateau and it wasn't even a starter (Simuel Frazier). According to ESPN, Howard coach Kevin Nickelberry was a little surprised at how much fire Indiana came out with after that emotional win over Kentucy over a week ago.

"Tom must have gave his team one heck of a speech because they were coming of a good Kentucky game, a good Notre Dame game and we were hoping that would be underestimating us," Howard coach Kevin Nickelberry said. "They came out as hungry as I have ever seen them."

The Bison head home to take on Delaware in their next game on Thursday.
