College Basketball Rankings: Georgetown Moves Up Four Spots In Coaches Poll

After a big home win and season sweep of the Memphis Tigers, the Georgetown Hoyas continued their rise up the rankings on Monday. In addition to the AP poll, the Hoyas also came in ranked 12th in the country in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.

They were bumped up four spots, and only Syracuse, Louisville, and UConn come in ahead of the Hoyas as conference play tips off this week. The 10-1 Hoyas will face the undefeated and fourth-ranked Cardinals on Wednesday as the Big East schedule gets underway.
