Providence Vs. Georgetown Final Score: Hoyas Beat Friars 49-40

In a low scoring game, the Georgetown Hoyas were able to extend their winning streak by knocking off the Providence Friars, 49-40. The Hoyas took a halftime lead of 27-19 and continued to shut down the Friars. The Hoyas offense didn't score much, but it wasn't really necessary as their defense did most of the work. Guard Jason Clark once again had a nice game, leading the Hoyas in scoring 16 points and picking up nine rebounds.

For Providence, forward LaDontae Henton picked up 13 points and 14 rebounds. Despite out rebounding the Hoyas, the Friars just couldn't get enough done offensively to catch back up with Georgetown.
