D.C. United Announces 2011 MLS Schedule, Will Open At Home On March 19

D.C. United just released its complete 2011 schedule, and its first game will take place at home on March 19. D.C. United will take on the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. They will then hit the road for games against New England March 26 at 4:30 and against 2010 MLS Cup champion Colorado April 3 at 7 p.m.

The Black and Red will also be on national television six times. Three of its game will be on ESPN2 (April 21 vs. the New York Red Bulls, August 18 at the Chicago Fire and September 29 at the Philadelphia Union), while Spanish television partners Telefutura and Galavision will air three games combined (April 3 at Colorado Rapids, June 25 vs. Houston Dynamo, August 21 at Sporting Kansas City).

D.C. United will play 34 league games in all, two against each team. It is not yet known which of these games will be carried by Comcast SportsNet. For a complete D.C. United schedule, click here.
