Albert Haynesworth Accused Of Sexual Assault, According To Report

A tumultuous year for Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth may be getting a whole lot worse. The Redskins' defensive tackle has been accused of sexual assault by a waitress at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. following an alleged incident over the weekend, sources tell NBCWashington.com.

Police are currently investigating the claims made by the witness to determine whether charges will be filed. It remains unclear when the alleged assault occurred and the details behind the claims. However, Haynesworth's agent Chad Speck has denied the allegations to NBC's Dan Hellie.

"There seems to be no truth to these allegations.  We are currently evaluating facts and considering our own legal action against those involved."

The incident comes on the heels of Haynesworth turning himself in to police after being charged with misdemeanor simple assault stemming from an alleged road rage incident in Fairfax. It remains unclear whether this incident happened before or after Haynesworth turned himself in to police on Saturday morning.
