2011 National Signing Day: Cyrus Kouandjio Will Not Sign With Anyone Yet, According To Report

In what can only be described as a very surprising turn of events, DeMatha offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio may not sign with anyone on National Signing Day after all. Despite announcing on ESPNU that he would sign with Auburn, reports now indicate that he will not make a final decision today.

Shane Youngblood of Rivals.com has the information:

Looks like Cyrus Kouandjio may not be signing with anyone today. Total bedlam on NSD.

The report has been confirmed as well by Andrew Bone of Scout.

@kristenkenney is uploading a video on Scout.com right now with Cyrus Kouandjio. It does not appear he will sign today. says "Big Doubts"

Kouandjio, the number one offensive line recruit and number four overall recruit according to Rivals, announced at noon today that he was headed to Auburn. However, reports later surfaced that he has yet to fax in his letter of intent, and it now appears he will continue to delay that decision. Kouandjio was deciding between Auburn, Alabama and New Mexico. If he decides to go to Alabama, he will join forces with his older brother on the offensive line.
