The Maryland Terrapins are 6-6 in ACC play and with a 17-10 record overall, they have plenty of work to do in order to secure a bid to the NCAA Tournament. A good chance to do so comes Wednesday at Comcast Center against the Florida State Seminoles.
Maryland is sixth in the ACC, while Florida State is in third. A win for the Terps would push them past fifth place Clemson and put them two games back of the Seminoles. A deep run into the ACC Tournament may be the Terps' best shot at earning an at-large berth if they cannot run the tables and win the conference tournament. With two road games against North Carolina and Miami upcoming, it's safe to say that the Terps need to win Wednesday.
That will be hard against the surging Seminoles, who have won eight of 10.
