Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert Headline NFL Combine Entries

The NFL Combine is getting underway today in Indianapolis, and some of the best prospects in the upcoming NFL draft will be on display.

Auburn QB Cam Newton, Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert, Alabama WR Julio Jones, and a slew of defensive prospects that have also been linked to the Redskins will be taking part in the activities.

There are plenty of local prospects that will be participating as well. LB Adrian Moten, RB Da'Rell Scott and WR Torrey Smith will represent Maryland at the Combine; while Virginia Tech sends DB Rashad Carmichael, RB Darren Evans, DT John Graves, RB Ryan Williams and QB Tyrod Taylor.

The three Terps players represent the type of prospect that could really help themselves at the combine. All three are above average athletes at their position, and should do extremely well in the measurable workout categories. Smith and Scott are particularly fast for their position, and should really turn some heads when they run the forty.

Check out the stream at SB Nation for more information.
