Coming off an upset win over the No. 5 seed Vanderbilt, Richmond will take on another NCAA bracket buster as the 2011 NCAA Tournament continues on Saturday. The Spiders will play No. 13 seed Morehead State on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. after the Eagles upset No. 4 seed Louisville on Thursday on CBS.
Richmond advanced past Vanderbilt, 69-66, while Morehead State slipped by Louisville, 62-61. The NCAA is clearly interested in the two underdogs, putting them on CBS. Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery will have the call.
The Spiders will have their issues with Kenneth Faried, Morehead State's best player and an absolute demon on the boards. Faried is a difficult matchup for Justin Harper on the interior, and Harper will need help. Then again, Richmond will struggle to guard Kevin Anderson, who carried the Spiders past Vanderbilt with 25 points.
