If you didn't have any plans for tonight before you started reading this sentence, now you do. Here are the best sports on television tonight, and where and when you can watch them. All times Eastern. Follow the links to learn more about each of the teams listed below. Let's get right into it.
↵NBA Basketball:
↵Wizards Vs. Trail Blazers, 10, CSN: There are so many nights that the Capitals and the Wizards play at the same time, and you have to wear out the batteries in your remote flipping back and forth. Not tonight though. The Wizards are on a West Coast swing, which means late night hoops, and no scheduling conflicts.
↵NHL Hockey:
↵Capitals Vs. Flyers, 7:30, Versus: It will be interesting to see how how the Capitlas respond now that we know Alex Ovechkin will be missing more than a week of action. They finally seem to be playing well, and then the rug just gets pulled out from under them. On the other hand, I don't think the organization would have made that decision if they weren't comfortable with how the team was playing.
↵Women's NCAA Tournament:
↵No. 5 Georgetown Vs. No. 4 Maryland, 7:15, ESPN2: How about a little local matchup in the Women's NCAA Tournament? The game will be played in Philadelphia, which helps no one. Maryland is probably the better team (hence the higher seed) so I'll take them.
