Kansas Continues To Dominate Richmond, Leads 60-38 Midway Through Second Half

The Kansas Jayhawks have maintained their halftime lead, beating Richmond 60-38 with 10 minutes to play in the second half. Brady Morningstar (15 points), Marcus Morris (eight points and seven rebounds) and Tyshawn Taylor (four points, seven rebounds and two blocks) have led the Jayhawks assault. Justin Harper has led Richmond with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Kansas has 16 assist to Richmonds seven, only four turnovers to the Spiders' eight, and has shot 52 percent to Richmond's 28 percent (a woeful three of 23 from three).

The Spiders have but ONE bucket off a backdoor cut, the staple of the Princeton offense. Kansas has disrupted the offensive flow of the Spiders, and there are precious minutes left for Richmond to find a rhythm. Shutting down Josh Selby and Morningstar will be a start. Getting Kevin Anderson more involved is vital as well. The senior standout has struggled from the field, as have most of his teammates.
