VIDEO: VCU Fans Celebrate In The Streets Of Richmond

With the VCU Rams earning a trip to the Final Four for the first time in school history, the people of Richmond weren't quite sure how to celebrate. Naturally, they took to the streets.

With fans wearing lots of yellow and black, the celebration spanned multiple blocks in downtown Richmond, as documented by this video shot from a helicopter over the city. VCU fans definitely could have taken a page out of the playbook of the Maryland Terrapins here though. This event desperately needed some riots, smoke bombs, and burnt couches. Maybe even an overturned car or two.

Instead what we get is some kid climbing a light pole, and chants of "We want Butler!" VCU vs. the Butler Bulldogs sounds like a really compelling early-round NIT game. But these two mid-major schools will be meeting in the Final Four. Anything can happen in the NCAA Tournament!
