ACC Tournament 2011 Bracket And Schedule Finalized, North Carolina Earns No. 1 Seed

The ACC Tournament bracket and schedule has been finalized, and thanks to its win over Duke on Saturday, North Carolina will be the No. 1 seed. The Tar Heels finished the regular season 14-2 in the ACC, one game ahead of the Blue Devils. North Carolina has won seven games in a row and 12 of its last 13.

Duke (No. 2), Florida State (No. 3) and Clemson (No. 4) also earn first-round byes in the tournament, which begins on Thursday. Maryland earned the No. 7 seed, while Virginia Tech, a team squarely on the NCAA bubble, will be the No. 6 seed. Truthfully, only Duke and North Carolina are definitive locks for the NCAA Tournament, so there is a lot on the line when things get underway in Greensboro on Thursday.
