2011 Washington Redskins Preseason Schedule Announced

There is no guarantee that there will even be an NFL preseason thanks to the ongoing NFL Lockout, but for what it's worth, the preseason schedules were announced today. The Washington Redskins are scheduled to play four games against four very strong opponents last season.

Those four teams? The Pittsburgh Steelers, who were the Super Bowl XLV runners-up, the Indianapolis Colts, who of course have Peyton Manning, the Baltimore Ravens, who went 12-4 last season, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who surprised everyone and nearly made the playoffs. These four teams finished with a combined 44-20 record last season.

Here is the complete schedule.

August 13: Steelers at Redskins.

August 20: Redskins at Colts.

August 25: Redskins at Ravens.

September 1: Buccaneers at Redskins.

Times and dates are subject to change, whether there is an NFL lockout or not. The August 25 game on the road against Baltimore is tentatively scheduled to be broadcasted on ESPN.
