TV Schedule For April 17: Capitals, Nationals In Action

So while yesterday was a little lacking in local sports action, today will be quite the opposite.

↵

We are gonna have ourselves some good old double header action with the Nationals and Brewers. And then sandwiched in between those games, the main event, today's Stanley Cup Playoff game, with the Caps playing  New York in Game 3.

↵

Today's TV Schedule:

↵

Nationals vs. Brewers, 1:35pm, MASN: The Nationals will play the first of their two games with Jason Marquis on the hill. Marquis has had a much better start to the 2011 season than he did last year, and will continue to build on that performance and lead the Nats to another win against the Brew Crew.

↵

Nationals vs. Brewers, (shortly after game one), MASN: The Nats will take a nice little break, then head right back out for the second of their two games today. They will send out the steady Livan Hernandez (1-1 on the year) to help secure at the very least a Nationals series victory.

↵

Capitals (2-0) at Rangers (0-2) , Game 3 of Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, 3pm, NBC: This is the big one. The Caps will play their first playoff road game of the season as they face a New York team who has to be reeling from the two defeats the Caps handed them at Verizon Center. The Caps have played tremendously the first two games and if they can win today at the Garden, which would give them a 3-0 series lead, it could signal an early end to this series.
