The Washington Wizards' 2011 season is over, so it's time to start thinking about the offseason. That process begins with a series of 2011 NBA mock drafts. In the latest one over at SBNation.com, the Wizards are taking Kentucky forward Terrence Jones with the fourth overall pick.
Here's what SBNation.com's Tom Ziller has to say about the pick:
Nothing hurts Washington's draft more than Barnes escaping, because this team has young, promising players at every position but small forward. I'm couting Kevin Seraphin and Trevor Booker as the promising power forwards, by the way. Not Andray Blatche. Never again.
The Wizards are dramatically hampered by several top prospects such as Ohio State's Jared Sullinger, Baylor's Perry Jones and North Carolina's Harrison Barnes pulling out of the 2011 NBA draft. Kyrie Irving of Duke is likely not in the picture because the Wizards already have John Wall, which severely limits their options. Jones is decent, but he's not going to push the needle as much as several other prospects could have.
