The Maryland football team will hold its annual red-white spring game on Saturday, April 30, the school announced. The game will take place at Byrd Stadium at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public for free. An autograph session with coach Randy Edsall and the players will precede the game from 12:30 to 1:30. All of the gates will be open at 2 p.m.
The game will feature four 12-minute quarters under a normal game format. It will culminate the five weeks of Maryland spring practice, which were Edsall's first experience with his new roster. During these five weeks, many players switched positions to account for the team's lack of depth. This will also be the first chance to see whether the Terps would be able to build on last season's strong finish
The game will not be on TV, but will be streamed live on TerpsTV and will be broadcasted on WJZ 105.7 in Baltimore.
