TV Schedule For April 3: Nationals, Wiz And United All In Action

Yesterday was obviously the big sports day of this weekend, what with the Final Four games, the Nationals and the Caps playing all in one day.

But that doesn't mean today is necessarily void of local sports action. Here's a look at today's schedule:

↵

Washington Nationals vs. Atlanta Braves, 1:35 p.m., MASN: The Nats got their first win of the season yesterday, with a 6-3 win over the Braves. Rick Ankiel hit the key two run shot and John Lannan had a steady performance to earn the W. Today, the Nats will look to take the series as they have Jordan Zimmermann, one of their top pitching prospects, on the hill against Tim Hudson, a pitcher who has dominated the Nats in his career.

↵

Washington Wizards at Charlotte Bobcats, 6:00 p.m, CSN: Fresh off their win at home against Cleveland, the Wizards will head back on the road to face the Bobcats. The Wiz recently won just their second road game, and today they will have a chance to get number three.

D.C. United vs. Colorado Rapids, 7pm, GalavisionStill stung from last week's disappointing loss to New England, Ben Olsen's squad will now travel to face perhaps one of the more balanced teams in Colorado. They may arguably have two of the top strikers in all of MLS in Omar Cummings and Conor Casey, which will certainly be a stiff test for United's backline.
