Tiger Woods Still Favorite To Win In Latest 2011 U.S. Open Odds

Despite suffering a knee and achilles injury that caused him to pull out of the 2011 Players Championship, Tiger Woods remains the favorite to win the 2011 U.S. Open, according to the latest odds at Bodog.com.

Woods is currently a 6/1 favorite to take down the tournament, which will be held June 16-19 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. Phil Mickelson is listed next with 10/1 odds, while Lee Westwood and Luke Donald follow at 14/1 and 16/1, respectively. Graeme McDowell, last year's champion, is at 33/1.

It should be noted that the latest odds are as of 8:01 a.m. on May 13. Also, if Woods somehow doesn't heal in time to even play in the event -- which is a possibility, however remote -- then things would surely change. However, it speaks to the power of Woods' name that he can be so injured and yet still be a favorite at a Major.
