NBA Draft Lottery 2011: Washington Wizards

The 2011 NBA Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday night in (beautiful) Secaucus, New Jersey. It gives the 14 teams that did not make the NBA Playoffs a chance to get the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, and dramatically change the future of their franchise. You can watch the Lottery on TNT, before the first game of the Western Conference Finals.

As I'm sure you know, the Wizards won the Lottery last year and drafted John Wall out of Kentucky, who looks to be the kind of franchise-player that they need to turn this whole thing around. This year, they have the fourth best chance to land the first overall pick, but that still only translates to an 11.9% chance. However, because they finished with the fourth worst record, they can do no worse than the seventh overall pick in the draft.

We'll be covering all the lead up to the 2011 NBA Draft Lottery, and the results once they happen, in this stream. Head over to Bullets Forever for more on the Wizards.
