Kevin Plank Owns Horses That Will Run In 2011 Preakness Stakes

Kevin Plank is a pretty busy guy. When he is not making Under Armour into one of the biggest clothing industries in the Nation, he's pursuing one of the most storied titles in all of sports. Plank has recently renovated Sagamore Farms, a formerly successful breeding ground, and hopes to one day win the Triple Crown, according to Liz Clarke of the Washington Post.

“Why not us?” Plank asked in a recent interview. “Who’s going to tell us we can’t?”

Well, we know Plank isn't going to win a Triple Crown this year, because he doesn't own Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom. And he doesn't have a horse in the actual Preakness Stakes either, but he does have horses that will be running earlier in the day at Pimlico this Saturday. Humble and Hungry will run in the James W. Murphy Stakes, and Shared Account will run later that afternoon in the Gallorette Handicap.
