The 2011 Preakness Stakes live from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore will begin on Saturday, with coverage spanning all afternoon into the evening. The Preakness post time is tentatively scheduled for 6:19 p.m. Animal Kingdom will be looking to follow up its tremendous stretch run to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs and become the first horse since Smarty Jones in 2004 to follow up with a win in the Preakness.

Post Time: As noted above, the post time is scheduled for 6:19 p.m. Other preliminary races will be done throughout the day starting at 10:45.
TV Coverage: The Preakness Stakes will be broadcasted on NBC, with the coverage window beginning at 4:30 p.m and running well through the end of the race. The main undercard will be broadcasted at 2:30 p.m. on Versus.
