We know that Schakleford won the Preakness Stakes this weekend. But it's kind of hard to put all the information we know about these horses into perspective. So here is a handy little chart with each horse's finish, the post position they started in, and their final odds from right before the race.
(5). Shackleford (12-1)
(11). Animal Kingdom (5/2)
(1). Astrology (15-1)
(10). Dialed In (4-1)
(8). Dance City (11-1)
(9). Mucho Macho Man (9/2)
(3). King Congie (21-1)
(14). Mr. Commons (30-1)
(12). Isn’t He Perfect (25-1)
(13). Concealed Identity (24-1)
(2). Norman Asbjornson (40-1)
(6). Stay Away (12-1)
(7). Midnight Interlude (13-1)
(4). Flashpoint (16-1)
Obviously Shackleford is the big winner here, but Mr. Commons is probably the highest jumper. From having the worst odds in the field to finishing a very respectable eighth.
