2011 NCAA Lacrosse Final Four: Maryland Leads Duke 5-2 At Half

Maryland is in good shape in the second game of the 2011 NCAA Lacrosse Final Four in Baltimore, Md. The Terps lead Duke by a score of 5-2 at halftime. The winner of Saturday night's contest will meet Virginia in the National Championship game on Monday.

The Terps have been paced by a balanced offensive attack. Five different players have chipped in a goal for Maryland. Each team has had 13 shots and nine shots on goal, but the difference for Maryland has been their man between the pipes, Niko Amato.

"He was excellent," Terps coach John Tillman said on ESPN2 before heading into the locker room. "The score can be deceiving. We gave up some great shots and NIko bailed us out."

Junior Joe Cummings leads the Terps with two points (a goal and an assist) while Drew Snider, Grant Catalino, Curtis Holmes and Kevin Cooper each added one goal.
