TV Schedule, May 7: Kentucky Derby, Nationals, NBA And NHL Playoffs

Make a mint julep, it's Kentucky Derby Day. The 137th "Run for the Roses" highlights a full day of sports programming, with the Nationals facing off against the Marlins, two huge NBA Playoff matchups and a possible series clincher in the NHL.

Kentucky Derby: Dialed In is your favorite, at 4-1. Personally I'm rooting for 20-1 horse Stay Thirsty, under the assumption the horse's owner is a big Dos Equis fan. Enjoy the big hats. (NBC, 6:24 p.m. Postime)

Nationals Vs. Marlins: Tom Gorlezanny takes the mound for Washington, facing off against Marlins righty Chris Volstad. Washington won 3-2 in ten innings Friday night, despite Nationals hitters striking out 17 times. (7:10 p.m., MASN).

NBA Playoffs

Thunder vs. Grizzlies, Game 3: The Grizzlies look to take a 2-1 series lead as at home. Oklahoma City was able to contain Memphis in the paint in Game 2, holding big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol to a combined five for 22 shooting night. (5:00 p.m, ABC).

Heat vs. Celtics, Game 3: Boston hopes a return to the TD Garden is just what the doctor ordered, as they trail Miami 2-0 in this highly anticipated match-up. (8:00 p.m., ABC)

NHL Playoffs

Predators vs. Canucks, Game 5: Vancouver leads Nashville 3-1, and we will see if they learned anything from their first round series against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks. In that series, Vancouver blew a 3-1 series lead and emerged victorious in OT of Game 7. (8:00 p.m., Versus)

DC United vs. FC Dallas: DCU has ten points through eight games this season, sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. United looks to build off of Wednesday night's victory over the Seattle Sounders. (7:30 p.m., RFK Stadium)
