CONCACAF Gold Cup 2011: Schedule And TV Information For USA Vs. Jamaica At RFK Stadium

Planning to head out to RFK Stadium later this afternoon for the Gold Cup quarterfinals? Or are you planning on spending your Father's Day by cracking open a couple of cold ones with the old man and settling down in front of the TV? Whatever you're doing, check out our handy-dandy guide to this afternoon's festivities first.

An English-language telecast of this afternoon's game can be seen on Fox Soccer Channel beginning at 2:30 with a half-hour pregame show taking you up to the 3 p.m. kick-off. The game is scheduled to be followed by a half-hour postgame show.

If you prefer a Spanish-language telecast, Univision will also be on the air beginning at 2:30. Unlike FSC, Univision will also be airing the second game of Sunday's quarterfinal doubleheader between Panama and El Salvador, which is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m.

If you're traveling to RFK via Metro, please note that several train lines are single-tracking this weekend due to scheduled track work. Vis a vis RFK, the Blue and Orange lines are sharing a single track in both directions between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory. The WMATA website recommends that you allow at least 20 extra minutes to your estimated travel time, so the earlier the better.

If you're traveling by car, it's best to avoid going anywhere near the Mall or GW as the area will be closed for the Washington, DC Triathlon. A full list of closures is here, but bear in mind that most of these streets should be open by late morning Sunday.  RFK Stadium lots will be open at 11:00 a.m. and will cost $20 per car (cash only). The stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m.
