The College World Series rolls on Wednesday, but with fewer games than we've been used to up to this point. Wednesday only features one game, but it's an elimination game, so that should make sure that some of the excitement is still present.
The North Carolina Tar Heels will face the Vanderbilt Commodores on Wednesday at 7 pm. The game can be found on ESPN2. Both teams are 1-1 in the tournament, and the loser of this game heads back home, while the other tries to maneuver their way through the loser's bracket all the way to the National Championship.
Vanderbilt is coming off a 3-1 loss to Florida that was suspended because of rain. While North Carolina is coming off a 3-0 victory over the Texas Longhorns, which eliminated them from the tournament. But momentum is only as strong as the next day's starting pitcher, so we'll have to see how these team's respond to having their backs up against the wall.
