College World Series 2011 Bracket Update: Florida Faces South Carolina In Championship Series

The 2011 College World Series is starting to come to a close, and even though local favorite Virginia has been knocked out and won't have a chance to compete for the Title, there should be a pretty compelling Championship series. Starting Monday, the Florida Gators and the South Carolina Gamecocks will play three games for all the marbles. You can watch the games on ESPN.

No matter who wins, the SEC is assured of their third straight National Championship. Of course, the Gamecocks won the title last year, but Florida has been as impressive as any team in the field during the tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if this one came down to South Carolina's experience of winning the title last year.

You can follow the conclusion of the tournament in this thread, or you can head over to the stream at SB Nation for more. Also, be sure to check out our Florida blog Alligator Army and our South Carolina blog Garnet and Black Attack.
