Navy football's annual game against Army always gets to be on CBS, and is always watched by tons of people around the country. Its game against Air Force, though, is often relegated to a smaller network, and nobody really watches it.
↵However, that is not going to be the case next year. The school has put out a press release saying the game will be moved from CBS Sports Network to the main CBS station, and will be broadcasted at noon on Saturday, October 1.This year's contest will be played in Annapolis. Last year, Air Force won in Colorado Springs.
↵Good for Navy, good for Air Force and good on CBS. The noon time slot also gives the network time to put other huge SEC games on in prime time, so nobody really loses. As long as the players can stomach playing earlier, it's tremendous exposure for one of the biggest rivalries in the game.
