Nationals Vs. Dodgers: Tom Gorzelanny Looks To Put Washington Back At .500

The Washington Nationals will look to get back to .500 when they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second game of a three-game series from Dodgers Stadium on Saturday night. First pitch is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Nationals got the 7-2 win on Friday night, spearheaded by a solid pitching performance from John Lannan. Lannan also got it done at the plate, bashing a home run to help his cause. It was a key win that erased some of the poor memories from a series loss to the lowly Houston Astros early in the week.

Tom Gorzelanny will get the call for the Nationals despite suffering an injury in his last start in Atlanta. Gorzelanny has evidently healed and will be looking to get the win. Ted Lily will oppose Gorzelanny for the Dodgers, as he hopes to send the series to a rubber match on Sunday.
