Washington Redskins quarterback John Beck, who did not play in the team's preseason opener with the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a groin injury, was back on the practice field Sunday afternoon, fully participating in 11 on 11 drills. Via Sky Kerstein of 106.7 the Fan:
#Redskins Beck ran full 11 on 11 today, had no limitations, barring anything unforeseen, should play Friday
I would have to imagine Beck felt some pressure to return to the practice field as soon as possible, given Rex Grossman's strong performance in the 16-7 victory over the Steelers. Grossman was 19 of 26 for 207 yards and a touchdown, and looked extremely comfortable running Kyle Shanahan's offense.
The Redskins have yet to announce which quarterback, Beck or Grossman, would start Friday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
