Redskins Vs. Colts Score: Washington Dominates, Leads Indianapolis 16-0 At Halftime

Washington quarterback John Beck picked up where Rex Grossman left off last week, guiding a Redskins offense that has been completely dominant in the first half of preseason game two. The Skins lead the Colts 16-0 at the half, as Beck has led Washington on four scoring drives and the team has amassed 277 total yards while holding on to the ball for 23 minutes. Beck, 14 of 17 for 140 yards, has looked comfortable in the pocket, moving his feet well, scrambling when he needs to scramble and showing a good knack for throwing the ball on the run.

Running backs Tim Hightower and Roy Helu Jr. also joined in the fun, together carrying the ball 16 times for 146 yards. Hightower scored the game's lone touchdown in the first quarter, and Helu has looked extremely impressive toting the rock, often breaking tackles and gaining yard after first contact.

Terrence Austin has taken advantage of Brand Banks' absence due to injury, catching three balls for 23 yards, also averaging just over eleven yards on four kick returns. Austin is making a very strong case to be on the roster in week one.
