Terrelle Pryor finally conducted his individual workout scheduled long ago before the 2011 Supplemental Draft on Saturday. The workout, which was postponed as Pryor's eligibility for the draft was settled, featured Pryor showing his skills to a number of teams who could use a pick to take him. The Washington Redskins were reportedly among those teams.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Redskins were at the workout. One might think this is a sign of interest, but don't be fooled. Schefter listed 16 other teams that attended the workout. Those 16 teams are as follows:
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- New Orleans Saints
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Dallas Cowboys
- San Diego Chargers
- Cleveland Browns
- Detroit Lions
- Indianapolis Colts
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Oakland Raiders
- Miami Dolphins
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Buffalo Bills
- San Francisco 49ers
- New England Patriots
In other words, over half the teams in the league were there, including ones that employ Tom Brady, Michael Vick, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Tony Romo, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. It's probably not worth reading too much into the Redskins' presence at the workout.
