The euphoria from the Nationals' ninth-inning rally on Friday was quickly dashed on Saturday in a mistake-filled 5-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Now, the Nationals look to rebound and take the series in a Sunday matinee at Nationals Park.
It'll be a tall order though, because Roy Halladay will be on the hill for the Phillies. Halladay has never lost to the Nationals since coming over from the American League. Chien-Ming Wang will oppose Halladay, looking for his third straight victory since returning from shoulder surgery.
The game on Saturday was a debacle for Washington. Not only did they commit fielding errors in the loss, but their ballpark was overrun by Phillies fans making the journey down I-95. The atmosphere should be more friendly on Sunday.
