Braves Vs. Nationals Final Score: Washington's Rally Falls Short In 6-4 Loss

In the end, the Washington Nationals were unable to sweep the Atlanta Braves in a three-game series. The Nationals fell behind early in a Wednesday afternoon game and couldn't catch up against the Braves' bullpen, falling 6-4 in the finale of a three-game series at Nationals Park.

Chien-Ming Wang struggled again in his second start after shoulder surgery, giving up six runs in five innings. Two came in the first inning, spurred by a stolen base by Michael Bourn and a couple RBIs, and four more came in the third inning, three of which were via a home run by second baseman Dan Uggla.

The Nationals rallied in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring four runs, the final two of which were via a Jayson Werth home run. But then the rain delayed the game, and the Nationals lost their rhythm. The Braves' bullpen retired the final 10 Nationals hitters to get the win.
