Ryan Torain Injury Could Sideline Washington Redskins' Running Back For Two Weeks, According To Report

Ryan Torain's wrist injury suffered on Wednesday at Redskins training camp could end up being a costly one. Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that there is a chance Torain could be sidelined for two weeks, depending on whether X-Rays reveal a broken bone.

Ryan Torain, the Redskins' first-string running back, injured his left wrist Wednesday and could miss as much as two weeks of training camp, according to a team official.

Torain is seeing a hand specialist Wednesday night, and even if the wrist is broken, he could return in two weeks, the team official told Jones. Still, it's a potentially-unfortunate setback for a player who has struggled escaping the injury bug.

Torain would not discuss his injury at training camp, which is his custom. EEarlier, Mike Shanahan said he wasn't sure how serious Torain's injury was and that he would only find out after the X-Rays were conducted on Wednesday night.
