ARLINGTON, Va. - After the third day of practice at the Washington Capitals' Rookie Camp, the prospects decided to shoot around after a grueling two-hour session. What soon followed was something not seen everyday as an errant slapshot broke a pane of plexiglass directly behind the net. See the aftermath after the jump.
Prospect Garrett Mitchell told the media that he thought it might have been fellow prospect Luke Lockhart that broke the glass, but with so many pucks flying towards the net, it was hard to find its source. For those wondering about the baby stroller, a mother and two young children were standing behind the glass at the time, but everybody was okay.
