Navy Vs. South Carolina Score Update: Midshipmen, Gamecocks Tied At 7

Navy has not backed down early in their showdown on the road at No. 10 South Carolina. In fact, the Midshipmen took it right to the Gamecocks early, scoring on their first possession of the game. South Carolina responded with a touchdown, and the two teams are tied at 7 after one quarter.

Navy got the ball early and immediately began to chew up clock on the ground. The drive was punctuated by a 27-yard run by John Howell on an option play, giving the Midshipmen the lead at the 7:43 mark of the first quarter. However, South Carolina responded with a strong drive of their own, cashing in when Marcus Lattimore bulldozed it in from six yards out to tie the game.
