Ben's Chili Bowl is one of Washington D.C.'s landmarks, and the Redskins are the City's team. It seems like a match made in heaven, right? Well the two iconic D.C. mainstays are getting together, as Dan Steinberg of D.C. Sports Bog reports that the Redskins are set to put in two Ben's Chili Bowl kiosks at FedEX Field.
This can only be a good thing. Even if the concessions at FedEx were already spectacular, there is just no substitute for a big heapin' pile of chili cheese fries from Ben's when you absolutely need them. And when it's 30 degrees out in a December game, that's the exact kind of meal you'll need. There is already a Ben's in Nationals Park, and that seems to be extremely popular, so I would assume that these locations will see a fair amount of traffic as well.
This is apparently part of a much larger expansion by Ben's which again, can only be a good thing.
