Week 3 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Washington Redskins Tight End Fred Davis

Looking for an upgrade at tight end for your fantasy football team? Look no further than Fred Davis of the Redskins.

Has the tight end that you drafted for your fantasy football team gotten off to a slow start? Thanks for nothing, Marcedes Lewis. Well here's one tight end that hasn't gotten off to a slow start - Fred Davis of the Washington Redskins.

Davis has at least five catches in both of his games this season, going for 191 yards and a touchdown. Davis is the sixth highest scoring tight end so far in 2011, and has certainly benefited from the injury to Chris Cooley that forced the veteran tight end to miss the entire preseason and to be limited so far during the regular season. Davis hasn't necessarily taken over for Cooley as the long-term starter quite yet, but he has received more playing time and more targets in both games this season.

Davis faces a difficult matchup this week against the physical presence of DeMarcus Ware and the Dallas Cowboys, but he would be a quality addition to your fantasy football team this week and probably into the future.
