Michael Vick Will Reportedly Miss 3-4 Weeks, Game Against Redskins With Broken Hand

Michael Vick suffered a broken right hand against New York Giants on Sunday. He tried to give it a go after receiving X-Rays in the locker room, but had to take the bench in favor of Mike Kafka. Now it is being reported that Vick will miss 3-4 weeks, which includes three games and a bye week for the Eagles. The biggest news in all of this for D.C. fans is that he will likely miss the Redskins game against the Eagles in Week 6.

The Redskins will be coming off their bye week in Week 5, so they'll have two weeks to prepare for a game against what should be the third string quarterback on the Eagles roster. That could bode will for Jim Haslett and the defense. Any time you can avoid a player with Vick's caliber, you have to take that as a win. Nobody roots for injuries, but you can root for them to help you once they've already happened.
