Delaware Vs. Navy: Midshipmen Lead Blue Hens 19-7 At Halftime

Navy and quarteback Kriss Proctor look like they are ready to for their close-up post-Ricky Dobbs. Proctor did his best Dobbs impression in the first half, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries as the Midshipmen lead the Blue Hens 19-7. Navy was penalty and turnover free in the first half, with Delaware coughing up the ball once on a Mark Schenauer fumble.

New Delaware starting quarterback Trevor Sasek was impressive in his own right, rushing for 36 yards and a touchdown on three carries, also completing nine of 15 passes for 82 yards in the first half.

As is expected in any Midshipmen contest, Navy has a huge edge on the ground, gaining 243 yards on 31 carries in the half to the Blue Hens' 95 yards on 16 carries.

Navy kicker Jon Teague's first half has been eventful, with Teague making an extra point, a 36 yard field goal and a 54 yard field goal but also having an extra point blocked on Navy's second touchdown of the first quarter. The 54 yarder is the longest in Navy history.
