Wake Forest Vs. Maryland Final Score: Terps Hold On For First ACC Win

The Maryland Terrapins welcomed in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons looking to pick up their first ACC victory of the season. At halftime the Terps held a big 40-24 lead over Wake Forest, but the Deacons fought back in the second half. The Deacons were able to pick up 40 points in the second half and pull close within the Terps lead.

The Terps were able to hold on for the victory however, despite the late rally by Wake Forest. Guard Terrell Stoglin led the Terps in points off the bench, picking up 20 points, shooting 6 for 8 from the free throw line. Sean Mosely was able to pick up 15 points while James Padgett picked up 11 points and 8 rebounds. For the Deacons, Travis McKie led the way for the Deacons with 25 points with 7 rebounds. With Maryland picking up their first ACC win of the season, they handed Wake Forest their first ACC loss of the season.
