Maryland Vs. Florida State: Seminoles Pull Away In Second Half For 84-70 Win Over Terps

The Maryland Terrapins fell to 2-2 in ACC play on Tuesday night, losing 84-70 to the Florida State Seminoles. Coming off a huge home win over North Carolina, the Noles presented a significant challenge for Mark Turgeon's club. The Terps hung with FSU through the first half, but the offense disappeared for a stretch to start the second and the Noles pulled away.

Terrell Stoglin was the only Terp who managed to get anything going on the offensive end. Stoglin finished with 27 points, with Nick Faust added ten points as the only other Maryland player in double figures. Alex Len had a quiet night against Leonard Hamilton's front line, scoring only three points on two attempts from the floor. Meanwhile, FSU had five players in double figures and consistently got easy buckets on the interior, highlighted by a spate of uncontested dunks.

Maryland now travels to Philadelphia, where they will try to get back on track against Temple on Saturday morning.
