Thunder Vs. Wizards Score Update: Washington Hangs Tough In First Half

The Washington Wizards surprisingly have hung with the Oklahoma City Thunder for much of the first half of the game. The Wizards struggles have been well documented this season, sitting at just 1-13 currently, but the Wizards trailed by just four points after the first quarter and took the lead over the Thunder in the second quarter and held until just under three minutes left when a Russell Westbrook layup tied the game. From there, the Thunder were able to take a 51-46 lead into halftime.

Westbrook and Kevin Durant ended the first half with 18 and 14 points, respectively. For the Wizards, John Wall led the Wizards in scoring at halftime with 12, also picking up 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Guard Jordan Crawford also added another 10 points off the bench for Washington. The Wiz have stuck with the Thunder through the first half but they'll need to limit their turnovers and shoot better than 0 for 6 from the three-point line in the second half.
