Todd Bozeman Reinstated As Head Coach Of Morgan State

Morgan State reinstated Todd Bozeman as head coach of the men's basketball team on Thursday night. Bozeman had missed the past three games after he was suspended indefinitely amid allegations of hitting a player during a January 7 game against South Carolina State. It was alleged that Bozeman hit guard Larry Batsfield - an allegation that the President of SCSU, who was sitting within proximity of Morgan State's bench, supported. The Bears' head coach spoke with ESPN's Andy Katz, expressing his relief and readiness to re-join his team.

Via Andy Katz of ESPN:

"I was told to report back to work tomorrow morning," Bozeman said. "I'm looking forward to getting back to the team and practice."

Morgan State went 1-2 in Bozeman's absence. Batsfield vehemently denied that there was any intentional contact, indicating that Bozeman incidentally hit him as he walked back to the huddle. The Bears will host North Carolina A&T on Saturday.
