Nuggets Vs. Wizards Score Update: Washington Takes 63-61 Lead Over Denver At Half

After one half at the Verizon Center, the Washington Wizards lead the Denver Nuggets 63-61. With John Wall leading Washington, and George Karl's preferred up-and-down pace with a deep rotation, it was expected to be a high-scoring affair with plenty of shots. Nick Young led the Wizards with 17 points but was holding his left wrist and in some pain as the teams walked off the floor at the end of the half.

Javale McGee and John Wall both had nine points each, as the Wizards shot better than 50 percent from the floor and drilled eight of 12 attempts from behind the arc. The Wizards spread it around in the first half, distributing 19 assists - very uncharacteristic so far this season.

They will look to continue the hot shooting in the second half and notch their second straight win over a quality Western Conference opponent.
