George Washington Vs. La Salle Final Score: 51-Point First Half Gives Explorers Comfortable Double Digit Win Over Colonials

The George Washington Colonials went on the road to Philadelphia on Wednesday looking to extend a season-high three-game win streak against the La Salle Explorers. But La Salle rolled up the Colonials to cruise to a 78-63 win. The guard duo of Lasan Kromah and Tony Taylor struggled for GWU, hitting only nine of 23 attempts from the floor. Nemanja Mikic led the team with 13 points, while Kromah added ten.

La Salle had its way on the offensive end, as they lit up GWU for 57 percent from the floor. Ramon Galloway went off, hitting six of seven attempts from behind the arc and finishing with a game-high 28 points. He sparked a 51-point first half that gave the Explorers a 13-point cushion after twenty minutes. Mike Longeran has seen these first half no-shows on the defensive end before this season, and this was another instance where the Colonials built too big a hole to crawl out of.

They look to get back on track on Saturday in the Bronx against a Fordham team that is just 1-4 in the conference.
